Today's Sketch Render: Please Don't Sit on Me

I’ve been modeling so much furniture lately that I figured I would finally do a quick sketch render. I wanted this one to appear as if it was walking away. The deformed cushion implies movement; its posture and material suggest its preciousness. Do precious museum objects feel this way? Like they want to escape their identity. It’s fun what you can get starting from a basic pillow. Maybe also stupid.

One Year Ago Today: The Stahl House Massing

This time a year ago I was finishing my Masters in Architecture at SCI-Arc. My topic was the Stahl House. I wanted to make a house look like a Gerhard Richter painting. These are some initial images of the massing I was working with.
